President Oaks teaches that God inspires many organizations and individuals to help those in need and that the Church is committed to work with others in that effort.
2021 expenditures for those in need in 188 countries totaled $906 million. Members volunteered over 6 million hours of labor. This is beyond what Latter-day Saints do in callings, in member-to-member service and individually with innumerable charitable organizations.
