Nourishing and Bearing Your Testimony

“Nourishing and Bearing Your Testimony”
Elder Stevenson teaches about what a testimony is and the importance of keeping your testimony strong and bearing it in word and deep.
Reflect on 4 Questions:
Do I know and understand what a testimony is?
Do I know how to bear my testimony?
What are the obstacles in sharing my testimony?
How do I keep my testimony?
Key elements of a testimony include the (1) belief that God is your Heavenly Father; (2) that Jesus Christ lives and is your savior; (3) that Joseph Smith is a prophet of God; (4) The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is God's restored church; and (5) the restored Church is led by a living prophet today.
Church members can bear their testimony by sharing spiritual feelings with others - in formal church meetings and one-on-one conversations.
One can also bear a testimony through "righteous behavior.“
One obstacle may be uncertainty about what to say. Bear witness Joseph Smith was a prophet of God and thoughts will flood into your mind.
Another obstacle can be fear. “Having faith … will allow you to overcome these feelings and freely share what is in your heart.”
“We testify when we love, share and invite, even online.”
